कार्य प्रगति पर है (A Work in Progress)

This film, set in the heart of India, Bhopal, traces the waste that flows from demolition sites in a fast growing city. The Construction and Demolition waste is a major environmental hazard. The recycling plants installed by the government are only able to address 1% of the total waste generated in the country. This film showcases everyday practices of people residing in an informal settlement in the city, called Mandwa. The film beautifully captures how the residents reuse C&D waste to build their homes, one brick and a few tiles at a time. A film by Oshee Johri and Nipun Prabhakar Mentored by Rajula Shah

A film about the architecture of the home, modernity and the making of the Indian citizen.
M. Hulot (Jacques Tati) is the dreamy, impractical, and adored uncle of nine-year-old Gérard Arpel, who lives with his materialistic parents, M. and Mme. Arpel, in an ultra-modern geometric house and garden, Villa Arpel, in a new suburb of Paris, situated just beyond the crumbling stone buildings of the old neighborhoods of the city. Gérard's parents are entrenched in a machine-like existence of work, fixed gender roles, the acquisition of status through possessions, and conspicuous displays to impress guests, such as the fish-shaped fountain at the center of the garden that, in a running gag, Mme. Arpel activates only for important visitors.

A portrait of a large extended Indian family over several decades as they gather at the matriarch's rural home, following the inevitable rhythms of change, children moving away to the city, and the decay of traditional village life.

Columbus (2017) is a drama film directed by Kogonada. It follows the story of Casey, a young architecture enthusiast living in Columbus, Indiana, who puts her dreams on hold to care for her recovering mother. She crosses paths with Jin, a Korean-American man who is in town to visit his comatose father, an architecture scholar. Despite their contrasting backgrounds, they form a deep connection as they explore the town’s renowned modernist buildings and share their personal struggles, dreams, and familial obligations. The film delicately explores themes of identity, family, and the complexities of human relationships against the backdrop of Columbus's striking architecture.
